As a nonprofit organization, the Gwinnett Neighborhood Leadership Institute relies on the ongoing and generous support of members of our community to keep our program going. GNLI is currently funded primarily through a grant from the Law Enforcement Block Grant program, in recognition of our success in organizing neighborhoods and communities to work together to solve problems, many of which ultimately prevent crime and delinquency. Other major contributors include:
Team Project Sponsors
One requirement for graduating from GNLI is that each class member — as part of a team of five or six classmates — must identify a community need and then plan, implement and complete a community improvement project to address that need. Many of these team projects need funding or in-kind donations of supplies or equipment to insure their success. As a team project sponsor, you or your business can help these worthwhile projects have a far-reaching, positive impact on the community.
For more information about how you can become a GNLI sponsor, call (770) 995-3339. The director will be glad to answer any questions you might have about the program, our website or our team projects.
